A wine estate is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable F&B Supervisor to lead the wine tasting experience. This role combines exceptional guest service with a deep knowledge of wines, ensuring that guests enjoy an unforgettable experience. As the F&B Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the wine tasting area, manage a dedicated team, and promote the estate's premium wine offerings.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the wine tasting room, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Manage and lead a team of wine tasting associates, providing training and support to enhance service delivery.

Curate and present engaging wine tasting experiences that showcase the estate’s wines and heritage.

Guide guests through the wine selection process, offering recommendations based on their preferences.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in the tasting area.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Manage wine inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with the cellar team to maintain availability of wines for tasting.

Assist with planning and executing wine events, such as tastings, dinners, and promotional activities.

Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, aiming for swift resolution and high guest satisfaction.

Provide detailed reports on tasting room operations, sales performance, and guest feedback.

Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to promote wine sales and tasting experiences.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within F&B (in wine tasting).

In-depth knowledge of wines, wine production, and the wine tasting process.

Passion for delivering excellent guest service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to train and mentor a team, fostering a positive working environment.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Must be able to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours when required.

Experience in inventory management and cash handling.

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic reporting tools.

Certification in wine knowledge (WSET or equivalent) is a plus.
