Deli South Africa is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations Specialist to join our team in our Cape Town office. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about e-commerce, enjoys working with online marketplaces, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product listings across various e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure inventory is accurately reflected online.
- Process and coordinate online orders from receipt through to fulfilment.
- Ensure product information, pricing, and promotions are accurate and up to date.
- Resolve customer queries relating to online orders in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Sales, Warehouse, and Marketing to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor marketplace performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience.
- Generate reports on sales performance, stock levels, and operational metrics.
- Assist with implementing new e-commerce initiatives and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 2–3 years' experience in an e-commerce or online retail operations role.
- Experience working with online marketplaces such as Takealot, Makro Marketplace, Amazon, or similar platforms.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems will be advantageous.
