Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Code 14 Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will operate heavy motor vehicles, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles (trucks and articulated vehicles) in a safe and responsible manner
- Transport goods to and from designated locations as scheduled
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered without damage
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logbooks
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly
- Follow planned routes and delivery schedules
- Assist with loading and offloading when required
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Must be of sober habits
Requirements
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience driving heavy vehicles
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes
- Ability to work long hours, shifts, and weekends when required
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/offloading
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Working Conditions
