Junior Safety Officer (x2)

Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and well informed compliance individuals
who will work closely with the Safety Officer and Site/Mine managers and
employees to identify potential hazards, investigate incidents, provide
safety training and awareness. These individuals should help contribute
and improve the company culture and safety, they should play a huge role
in ensuring compliance with relevant mining legislation, occupational health
and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
● Assist in implementing health and safety policies and procedures
● Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments
● Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company standards
● Investigate incidents and assist with reporting and corrective actions
● Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks
● Maintain safety records and documentation
● Promote a positive safety culture across the organization
Minimum Requirements
● Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA, or
equivalent)
● Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
● Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
● Previous experience in a safety related role will be an advantage
