A cutting-edge digital identity solutions company requires an Account Manager to successfully manage client accounts and contribute to the business growth. The Account Manager will work together with business to retain and grow the company’s client base.
The ideal candidate will understand SaaS business operating models and have as keen interest in technology. They will be able to understand the company’s current and future product offerings.
Key responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the point of contact for client account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Account Growth and Retention:
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Revenue Management:
- Work with business internally to negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop new opportunities
- Increase revenue within existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Feedback and Reporting:
- Collect client feedback and market research to inform sales practices and product development
- Collaboration with Other Teams:
- Work closely with the customer service, product management, and business development teams to ensure client needs are met
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role in a SaaS or software company
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, SaaS products and cloud-based technologies
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel and Word)
