About the Role
Food and Connect requires the services of suitably qualified, hard-working and responsible Chef to join our company. Reporting the Operations Manager, the Sous Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation across multiple store locations. This role ensures that high culinary standards are maintained, and that kitchen operations run efficiently. The role is supported by two Assistant Managers who assist with logistics and inventory management.
Minimum Qualification and Experience requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality (Chef qualification)
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years recent and relevant work experience as a Chef, of which at least 1 - 2 years is in managerial capacity with developed leadership and management skills, and exposure to various aspects of finance administration. (Essential)
- Drivers License (Essential)
- Computer literate
- Self starter with good experience of running operations independently.
- Good customer experience and an excellent communicator, work flexible hours i.e., at events
Years of experience
- Three (3) – Five (5) years of relevant experience (Essential)
