Our Role
We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Electrical Tradesperson at our Galong Limestone Mine and Processing Plant (342 Eubindal Rd, Galong, NSW). The operation is located near the village of Galong, which is located a short drive (15 - 45 minutes) from the larger regional centers of Yass, Young and Harden. Reporting to the Maintenance Leading Hand, you will work with a high degree of autonomy and carry out varied work including troubleshooting, breakdown, repair and carry out tasks under our preventative maintenance program.
This will be a day shift Monday to Friday role, however you will be required to work on some weekends and will be available to attend unplanned breakdowns whereby overtime rates will apply.
The ideal applicant will have some or all of the following (an electrical trade qualification is mandatory):
- Relevant trade qualification.
- Successful experience on VSD's, switchgear and instrumentation.
- PLC and SCADA process control experience..
- Experience with crushing and screening, milling, kiln and hydration equipment..
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
- NSW Electrical contractor's licence
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude towards safety and a commitment to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation.

Pay: R668,00 - R729,00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Galong, NSW 2585: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
Experience:
- Electrician: 3 years (Preferred)
