Business Development Researcher
Location: Observatory, Cape Town (Office-Based)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: Up to R15,000 per month, depending on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Development Researcher to join our team. This position focuses on market research, lead identification, database management, and supporting business development activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching potential opportunities, maintaining accurate records, and assisting the team with administrative and research-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Research potential clients, property owners, and business opportunities.
- Gather and verify information using online resources and databases.
- Maintain and update CRM records to ensure information remains accurate and current.
- Identify opportunities within existing databases.
- Assist with lead follow-up and general communication where required.
- Support the business development team with research and administrative tasks.
- Work with internal teams to improve data quality and research processes.
- Complete additional duties as required to support the business.
Requirements
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online research tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in administration, research, customer service, or a similar role is advantageous.
- Own laptop and reliable transport are required.
