We are seeking a motivated DTP Operator to join our team in the printing industry. As a Junior DTP Operator, you will assist in the design and production of printed materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and labels.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create and format printed materials using desktop publishing software.
- Typeset text, select fonts, adjust spacing, and apply styles to ensure consistency and readability in designs.
- Prepare print-ready files and ensure that materials meet printing specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in proofreading and quality control to identify and correct errors before final production.
- Operate printing equipment and assist with print production as needed.
- Learn and apply best practices in desktop publishing and printing processes to enhance skills and contribute to project success.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a DTP Operator
- Proficiency in Desktop Publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong design skills, including typography, layout, and color theory.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across various materials.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Time management skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- A Valid Drivers Licence
Pay: R8 000,00 - R10 000,00 per month
