Must have technical/professional qualifications:

Qualified with postgraduate professional experience MSc or MBA (preferred)

University Graduate or equivalent in an engineering or business discipline

Seasoned business management experience with minimum of 10 years’ experience operating at Executive / Director level in a telecommunications related industry

Solid track record of applying commercial judgement to achieve effective results.

In-depth knowledge of company business and market developments

Extensive knowledge of the Telecom sector

Extensive knowledge of the Internet sector

Combines commercial breadth and technical depth to take a global perspective in the development and interpretation of corporate strategic plans.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

Understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends.

Ability to interpret trends and translate into strategy and product & proposition design features and functions that can support business growth opportunities.

Proven expertise in Data monetization, & Digital strategy with specific knowledge on Devices, Content, OTT partnerships, CVM and digital transformation

Strong communicator, written and oral presentations and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner.

Ability to communicate effectively, think strategically and implement tactically with proven business skills.

Comprehensive understanding of the ICT sector and in particular the Commercial and Technical interdependencies

Africa and prepaid market expertise
