Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces and experiences that delight our users and meet their needs. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance our platform’s usability and functionality. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our products are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with our brand vision.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs and behaviours.
- Analyse user feedback and data to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes and mockups using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with our brand guidelines.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure designs are feasible and align with product requirements.
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind your design choices.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Continuously seek feedback from users and stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
- Advocate for best practices in design, usability, and accessibility across the organization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of designing successful digital products from concept to launch.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
