PACKAGING WORLD has a vacancy for a Quality Inspector. This position is based in Westmead, Pinetown,Durban.
The successful incumbent will be expected to perform the following duties, not limited to:
- The incumbent will be responsible for conducting checks of each production job produced on a daily basis, taking samples and assisting the quality controller with distributing and monitoring of all production checklists.
- Scrutinize samples, to ensure the size and print is correct, the barcode scans etc.
- Create colour standards for pre-print approvals.
- Assist with gathering customer complaint information.
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Printing experience required.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience gained within a medium sized manufacturing business. Packaging industry experience would be ideal.
