PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors
and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1922. We are registered with the HPCSA
(Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.
An opportunity exists for a Staff Nurse to join the PathCare family at our Akasia Depot branch in Pretoria. We seek
an individual with a high level of ethics and integrity who displays a proven track record of aligning with the
PathCare values.
• Nursing Diploma
- Current registration with SANC
- Intermediate computer literacy with Skylims
knowledge is advantageous.
- 2 years post qualification phlebotomy
experience is highly advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Client-focused with strong interpersonal
relations
- Adaptability with the ability to co-operate
within a team environment.
- Effective verbal and electronic communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and display resilience
and tenacity in challenging situations.
- Innovative and result-orientated
- Positive attitude and flexible workstyle
- Must be fluent in English with an understanding of
Afrikaans.
- Must be available for short notice shifts.
- Must be prepared to work shifts.
- Must have an acceptable track record/performance
record with regard to the technical and behavioural
competencies required to perform in this position.

competency.
