We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Skills Development Compliance Coordinator to join our Skills Development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring compliance across skills development programmes, ensuring that all learnerships, internships, apprenticeships and other initiatives meet SETA, QCTO, legislative, funding and internal governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate compliance activities across all skills development programmes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, SETA and QCTO requirements, and internal policies.
- Manage learner registrations, contracts, programme documentation and learner files.
- Prepare and submit compliance documentation and reports to SETAs and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate learner records, databases and programme documentation.
- Monitor learner attendance, programme progress and workplace compliance.
- Ensure learner files and programme documentation are audit-ready.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
- Liaise with SETAs, training providers, host employers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with funding applications, grant compliance and programme close-out processes.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Compile regular compliance and programme performance reports.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Business Administration, Education or a related field.
Advantageous:
- Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification.
- Assessor and/or Moderator accreditation.
Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience in skills development, learnership administration or compliance.
- Experience working with SETAs, QCTO and funded skills development programmes.
- Experience with WSP and ATR submissions will be advantageous.
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound knowledge of Skills Development legislation and SETA processes.
- Understanding of B-BBEE Skills Development requirements.
- Strong administration, organisation and reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
