F&B Manager
Stellenbosch
You will be responsible for the F&B Operations, including rostering, stock monitoring, IR, recruitment & selection, supplier management and daily administration. As our F&B Manager, you will oversee the entire restaurant operation, including all restaurant, beverage, room service, and events operations.
One of your primary responsibilities will be to manage the F&B budget and drive operational profitability by meeting sales targets and managing costs effectively. Your role will also involve planning food and beverage menu offerings, promotions, and events and maintaining high food and beverage service standards.
You will ensure staff are trained and can offer world-class service to our guests. You will also lead a team of people, encouraging teamwork and personal accountability and promoting staff engagement and retention.
Along with your Matric Certificate, you have a relevant tertiary qualification with Cape Wine Academy, WSET or Cocktail Bar courses and a minimum of 3 years' experience in an F&B Manager role in a similar environment.
We are seeking a proactive and decisive individual with excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to quality. Your solid financial and business acumen, along with your extensive knowledge of food and beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, will be invaluable in this role.
You possess strategic insight and are strong at planning and implementation. You have your own transport and are adept at using technology, including micros and speed point machines, as well as MS 365.
