A reputable Mining company is looking to employ a qualified and experienced Draughtsperson
Requirements: -
- Post-Secondary School training in Drafting and/ or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- PTC Creo, Windchill and 3D CAD experience
- Working experience on Syspro
- 3 years as a Draughtsperson experience
KPA: -
- Generating of new and updating existing CAD models and detailed engineering drawings from hand drawn drawings or existing CAD models and or verbal descriptions from the engineers and senior draughtsman using PTC Creo 3D CAD modeling system and Windchill PLM
- Attend to production related drawing queries from the factory and suppliers
- Collect and record information of any changes that are made during the fabrication and assembly of products
- Update drawings to an "As built" specification, based on records collected during the fabrication and assembly of
products
- Responsible for producing 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and other engineering outputs as required
- Produce detailed manufacturing drawings to SANS 10111 as well as other company standards
