Leeuwner Maritz Attorneys is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Property Law Attorney / Conveyancing Attorney to join our established property law team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for conveyancing, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage all legal and conveyancing matters in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend to all legal and conveyancing matters relating to property transfers.
* Manage property transfers from instruction to registration.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions and the Deeds Office.
* Ensure compliance with all conveyancing, property law and FICA requirements.
* Manage multiple files while maintaining excellent turnaround times.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
✔ Admitted Attorney in South Africa.
✔ 1–5 years’ post-admission experience in Property Law and/or Conveyancing.
✔ Sound knowledge of property transfers, Deeds Office procedures and FICA compliance.
✔ Excellent drafting and communication skills.
✔ Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
✔ Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken).
