REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric + Well spoken
- Preferably 2 Official Languages
- License 2 years and older
- 5 Years Driving Experience
- Volvo and Scania is Advantageous
- No Criminal Record
- Neat and well groomed (PPE must be clean and worn at all times)
- Valid driver’s license
AdhocFunctions
- Directing drivers while reversing ensuring it is safe to do so
- Communicating with zone controllers via cell phone
- Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle both internally and externally
- Ensuring all tools and equipment used are kept clean and stored as required.
- Reporting any losses, damages and discrepancies’ with regard to cargo, equipment and paperwork
- Greeting and interacting with clients in a polite and pleasant manner
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work overtime
- Own transport advantageous as transport will only be provided when legislatively
- required and in some instances be charged to employee
- Computer skill advantageous
- Own cell phone in working condition
- Approx. 5 years previous freight experience advantageous
- Willingness to take a pre-employment polygraph test
- Must have at least 2 contactable references
Pay: From R10 811,79 per month
