Our client, a prominent manufacturer and seller of base chemicals, is seeking a talented Reliability Engineer (Electrical) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Develop preventative maintenance strategies following Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
- Lead management of change initiatives to stabilize and optimize the electrical network.
- Manage electrical projects and initiate energy efficiency solutions across the organization.
- Measure and improve equipment reliability through continuous monitoring and analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years' experience in maintenance projects, preferably in a chemical processing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SCADA, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information:
- Position reports to the Electrical Manager.
- Full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 is required.
- Further responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
