Management of the full marketing function of organisation. National and Branch Level Marketing Strategy and Plans Formulation, Implementation and Execution
· Formulate and implement the marketing strategic plan on a company and branch level which should achieve the company strategic objectives including but not limited to:
o Brands visibility and positioning within South Africa and Southern Africa.
o Revenue growth and diversification in line with the company budgets and product development plans.
o Increase in market share and capture of new markets.
o Alignment of the strategy and planning on a national and branch level.
· Provide continuous insights in Southern African markets, product development trends, overall SA market situation so that such insights support the overall company strategy. In coordination with Sales and Product divisions formulate and undertake the formal customer survey for statistical sample of Grandmark customers regarding the following key strategic areas:
o Overall brand experience
o Key brand weaknesses and strength as experienced by customers
o Overall feedback and suggestions from the market
· Develop and implement partnership with each significant supplier (brand owner/promoter) so the structured joint campaigns are implemented throughout the year with customer incentives implemented in a manner which assists the company in achieving the objectives. Negotiating the marketing contributions and budgets with the suppliers.
Corporate identity and branding management
· Developing company standards for all brands which should ensure consistency of corporate identity and branding.
· Ensuring that company assets are utilised effectively for marketing and promotion purposes this includes marketing and advertising on company vehicles, budlings and other assets.
· Managing company marketing and advertising merchandise and corporate uniforms in a manner which minimises the costs and maximises the impact. Developing the corporate uniform standards. Merchandise planning and distribution.
· Company signage management on a national and branch level.
· Company front end and branches front end branding and corporate identity management (including any area exposed to the customers).
· Developing and maintaining company corporate brochure and portfolio which is used to represent the company with all stakeholders.
· Review and standardise all company packing and wrapping to ensure consistent branding and quality.
Management of the overall company presence on the markets as well as company reputation and footprint
· Organising and managing customer trade dates, roadshows and events in collaboration with Branches, Sales and Product divisions.
· Ensuring appropriate company presence in industry printed media, including industry journals and magazines.
· Directly engaging customer and suppliers on continuous basis in coordination with Sales and Product teams.
· Promotion of the company social responsibility position, sustainable development objectives and social contribution including all elements of company value add
Digital Marketing management.
· Grandmark website design and maintenance.
· Repositioning and reformulating the company digital presence strategy and plan for all social media platforms. Formulating company KPIs for each digital platform. Ensuring Grandmark brands visibility and prioritisation on all applicable search engines.
· Developing and implementing the website for company retail operations (Drive).
· Management of the QR campaigns and promotions
Management of the suppliers and service providers for the area of responsibility, cost management and optimisation for the area of responsibility.
· Manage supplier and service providers contracts in a manner which is compliant with company policies and procedures and in a manner which maximises the benefits for the company.
· Manage the purchase order process for the area of responsibility in a manner which is compliant with company policies and procedures and in a manner which maximises the benefits for the company.
· Ensure safeguarding and appropriate level of controls over the company merchandise, promotional items and corporate uniforms where no items are unaccounted for or used outside of the original purpose.
· Managing budget for the area of responsibility.
