Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for discrepancies in financial reports.
- Utilize Syft Analytics tools and platforms to analyze financial data and generate insights.
2. Accounting Operations:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows using Syft Analytics capabilities.
3. Financial Systems Management:
- Maintain and optimize financial systems, including Syft Analytics, for accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to finance and non-finance teams on using Syft Analytics tools effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) in accounting roles, preferably in a technology or analytics-driven environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Syft Analytics or similar analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Efficient in both Afrikaans and English.
