To expand principal product availability and activation within the Emerging Markets Channel by proactively developing new and existing customer opportunities, building distribution in the informal trade channels, maintaining effective territory coverage, and ensuring the brand, product and content are available to consumers wherever and whenever required.

- Business English: Fluent
- Code 08 (or 10) Driver's license / valid driver's license (with PDP and minimum of 3 years driving experience)
- Relevant experience in sales and informal trade channels
- Proven sales track record
- Ability to manage and cultivate good customer and stakeholder relationships
- Selling skills: communication, negotiation and objection handling
- Commercial awareness and basic understanding of commercial maths
- Computer literacy: MS Office, Outlook, laptop, tablet and mobile phone use
- Local market / geographical knowledge beneficial; flexibility to manage own work time and organisation
Territory Coverage
- Cover all agreed customers at optimum frequencies in a cost-effective manner.
- Maintain and develop route optimisation within the assigned territory.
- Develop working knowledge of geographic and demographic areas in the assigned geography.
- Ensure a sustainable route-to-market / go-to-market strategy and structure in assigned geography.
- Administer and develop the designated area through disciplined planning and execution.
- Execute call cycle as agreed, to ensure coverage and appointment planning in line with channel setting and targets.
- Support effective product availability across relevant emerging market.
Customer Partnering
- Act as a reliable and knowledgeable partner to Emerging Market Management Outlet Owners and the Brand Team.
- Actively identify relationship opportunities that support mutual business growth.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Provide brand and product guidance that supports availability and activation in the territory.
- Build customer trust through consistent communication and effective follow-through.
Entrepreneur of the Territory
- Analyse customer potential and identify growth opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Develop optimal appointment planning, routing, call cycle and coverage plans.
- Focus on new customer acquisition in the defined territory.
- Address customer enquiries and handle complaints to support customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, market trends and competitor activities.
- Track sales activities, document customer interactions and provide regular feedback.
- Manage new and existing customers to achieve strong product presentation, placement, visibility and availability.
