We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Retail Regional Sales Manager to lead our Gauteng retail business and regional sales team. This role is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, strengthening retail partnerships, executing brand strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across key retail accounts.
The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with proven retail sales leadership experience, exceptional commercial acumen, and the ability to drive both sell-in and sell-out performance within a fast-paced retail environment.

- Grade 12 / National Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retail Sales Management within Consumer Electronics, Technology or related retail industries
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing or leading a sales team
- Proven track record of achieving sales and GP targets
- Strong relationships with major retail groups and buyers within Gauteng
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent reporting and presentation abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Highly professional, self-motivated and results-driven
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
Sales & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned to brand and company objectives
- Drive achievement of sales, GP, and market share targets across all retail accounts
- Identify growth opportunities across existing and new retail channels
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies to maintain competitive positioning
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize ranging, promotions, forecasting, and stock flow
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and effective account planning
Retail Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, planners, and key stakeholders
- Conduct regular strategic business reviews with retail partners
- Align retailer growth opportunities with vendor and company objectives
- Drive collaborative retail planning to improve overall business performance
- Ensure strong execution and visibility across all retail environments
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales and account management team
- Foster a high-performance and accountable team culture
- Conduct regular KPI reviews and performance management sessions
- Ensure alignment between field execution, account management, and business objectives
- Mentor team members to improve sales effectiveness and relationship management
Marketing & Promotional Management
- Manage and oversee retail marketing and promotional spend
- Ensure all promotional activities deliver measurable ROI
- Work closely with Marketing and vendor teams on campaign planning and execution
- Analyse promotional performance and optimize future initiatives based on insights
Operational & Stock Management
- Monitor stock health, aging inventory, and sell-through performance
- Ensure healthy stock availability and replenishment across retail accounts
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to improve efficiencies
- Support effective in-store execution and merchandising standards
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present regular sales, operational, and strategic performance reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Ensure effective communication and alignment across internal departments
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with Product Managers, Marketing, and Retail stakeholders
