JobTitle: Sales Consultant
The Sales Consultantis primarily responsible for meeting sales goals by presenting and sellingproducts and services to customers and leads. The Sales Consultant serves asthe principal point of contact between the company and its customers and isresponsible for building good relationships with new and existing customers.
Objectives
- - Pursue sales opportunities byidentifying new markets, generating leads and pitching to prospective customersin the designated territory.
- - Devise strategies to promote and sellproducts or services by creating compelling sales pitches.
- - Meet existing and new customers to establishlong lasting relationships and acquire a healthy pipeline to maintain futuresales.
- - Recommend product and servicesolutions to customers and serve as the liaison between the company andcustomers to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled.
- - Maintain and grow a strong customerbase by means of trust and integrity.

- - Visiting customers and potentialcustomers to evaluate needs or to promote products and services.
- - Determining the needs of customersand serving customers by offering solutions to meet those needs.
- - Servicing customers, setting upmeetings, obtaining orders and establishing new customers.
- - Responding to customers regardingservice enquiries and complaints.
- - Conducting market research toidentify selling possibilities.
- - Actively seeking out new sales opportunitiesthrough cold calling, networking and social media.
- - Participating on behalf of thecompany in exhibitions or conferences.
- - Planning and organizing daily workschedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other tradefactors.
- - Adjusting content of salespresentations, price lists and product literature by studying the type of salesoutlet or trade factor.
- - Preparing and performing salespresentations and product demonstrations to a range of customers.
- - Focusing sales efforts by studyingexisting customers and scoping the potential volume of leads.
- - Maintaining sales volume, productmix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changingtrends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- - Developing sales techniques and fieldsales action plans.
- - Keeping management informed bysubmitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly andmonthly work plans, and historical analysis on customers and designated territoryrecords.
- - Monitoring competition by gatheringcurrent marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, deliveryschedules, market trends, customer preferences and merchandising techniques.
- - Recommending changes in products,service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- - Resolving customer complaints byinvestigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and makingrecommendations to management.
- - Gathering feedback from customers orprospects and share with internal teams
- - Collaborating with team members toachieve better results
- - Completing operational requirementsby scheduling and assigning project resources and following up on work results.
- - Maintaining professional andtechnical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professionalpublications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professionalsocieties.

Education,Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- - High school certificate
- - A degree/diploma in Sales, Business, Marketingor related field
- - Minimum 5 years’ sales experience
- - Deep understanding of sales processand dynamics
- - Proven track record of positive salesperformance
