Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead staff: Manage a team of technicians or workshop personnel, assign tasks based on skill levels, and provide training and development opportunities to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Plan and coordinate workshop activities: Schedule maintenance, repair work, and project timelines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Resource and inventory management: Order parts, supplies, and equipment, maintain inventory levels.
- Quality control and safety compliance: Implement and enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations .
- Budgeting and cost control: Monitor workshop expenses, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Continuous improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and foster a culture of technical excellence .
Required Skills

- Technical knowledge relevant to the workshop’s focus (e.g., mechanical, automotive, or technical systems) and familiarity with workshop equipment .
