Job Overview:
The Seasonal Hostess will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and floor plans, and ensuring that each guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service. This full-time, seasonal role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Manage reservations and walk-ins, efficiently seating guests according to their preferences and availability.

Oversee and manage the floor plan to optimise seating arrangements and ensure a smooth flow of guests.

Maintain an organised and welcoming front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting areas.

Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.

Assist in managing wait times and coordinate with service staff to ensure timely seating.

Address guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience.

Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed, including managing phone calls and assisting with special requests.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.

Experience or familiarity with managing floor plans and seating arrangements is a plus.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and remain calm under stress.
