WD Auto Clinic is looking for an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Please note: This position is for a motor mechanic only. We are not looking for a diesel mechanic.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
- Remove, repair, and refit gearboxes.
- Carry out engine repairs and overhauls.
- Perform general mechanical repairs on petrol vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic automotive electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while following safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a motor mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with gearbox removal and installation.
- Solid engine repair and mechanical repair experience.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, honest, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's licence will be an advantage.
Must reside in Cape Town, Western Cape
