We are looking for an experienced multi-head embroidery operator to brand corporate wear, golfers, caps and promotional garments. You will set up, frame and run the machines to hold logo quality across knit and woven garments while meeting daily output.
What you will do
- Meet daily output targets on multi-head machines without dropping branding quality
- Set up each run: hoop and frame garments, select the right backing and stabiliser for the fabric, and align placement to the branding spec
- Hold logo quality across the run: registration, density, satin and fill quality, and consistent placement head to head
- Manage thread tensioning and thread paths to keep breaks and birdnesting down
- Load, scale and set up the digital logo file, and run a first-off approval before the batch
- Keep the machines running: cleaning, oiling, needle checks and routine maintenance
What you need
- 5+ years active experience on a manufacturing floor
- Multi-head machines (Tajima, Barudan or equivalent)
- High-volume corporate and promotional branding, including caps and knit garments
- Framing and hooping across knits and wovens, and stabiliser selection including cut-away backing for stretchy knits
- Thread tensioning, colour sequencing, and basic digital logo file setup, scaling and placement
Pay: R6 443,48 - R8 000,00 per month
