AluVision is looking for an experienced Senior Fitter (C1) to join our Installations team.
This is a hands-on role for a skilled installer with extensive experience in the glass and aluminium industry. You will take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges, and confidently lead installation teams on site when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Install aluminium windows, doors, shopfronts, curtain walling, façade systems and custom aluminium products to specification.
- Read, interpret and work from technical drawings and installation details.
- Ensure all installations meet AluVision's quality standards and client expectations.
- Lead and coordinate on-site teams in the absence of a Supervisor.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress against installation programmes.
- Identify and resolve on-site installation challenges efficiently.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and site housekeeping.
- Mentor and support Junior Fitters and Assistants.
- Communicate daily progress, challenges and site requirements effectively with management.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Aluminium Fitter within the glass and aluminium industry.
- Extensive experience installing commercial aluminium systems.
- Experience with custom-designed aluminium installations will be advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Sound knowledge of aluminium profiles, glazing systems, hardware and installation methods.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and installation equipment safely.
- Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
