Dog Handler Position Available at established Doggy Daycare.
We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and experienced Dog Handler to join our team.
Requirements:
- Previous professional dog handling experience is essential and non-negotiable (doggy daycare, kennels, grooming facilities, shelters, training facilities, veterinary practices, or similar environments).
- Confident handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
- Physically fit and comfortable spending the majority of the day on your feet.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Genuine passion for animal welfare and canine behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing groups of dogs safely.
- Monitoring dog behaviour and intervening appropriately when required.
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment.
- Assisting with cleaning, and general daily care.
- Communicating effectively with management and fellow team members.
- Upholding company procedures and safety standards at all times.
