Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems
- Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning
- Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins
- Lead FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation
- Collaborate across disciplines, with clients and agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field- MT-2 experience
- 5+ years of hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) engineering experience
- Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS
- Experience with FEMA LOMR/MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater management design
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Project management experience and a desire to mentor junior engineers
- PE license preferred
