The Faculty of Management, Commerce & Law is seeking committed and detail‑oriented individuals to join our academic team as Markers. This role is central to maintaining the integrity of our assessment processes and supporting student success.
Mercantile & Private Law
Total number of markers = 5
Candidates must hold an LLB degree and be pursuing a Master’s qualification, or hold a LLM degree and be pursuing a Doctoral qualification, in the field of law
- Assess student tests and examinations in line with approved marking schemes.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to enhance student learning and development.
- Ensure fairness and consistency by participating in moderation and standardization processes.
- Record marks accurately and within required deadlines.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
- Uphold confidentiality and academic integrity, including identifying potential misconduct.
- Collaborate with lecturers, course coordinators, and fellow markers to ensure quality assurance.
