What You'll Be Doing
Potential responsibilities may include:
- Implementing credit control and debt collection processes.
- Monitoring debtor accounts and driving debt recovery initiatives.
- Managing and monitoring contractor performance.
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Conducting quality inspections and compliance checks.
- Engaging with municipal officials, customers, and contractors.
- Supporting revenue collection and billing improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in consulting, finance, credit control, debt collection, or revenue management.
- Fluency in Xitsonga and Tshivenda.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Advantageous
- Experience working within a municipal environment.
- Knowledge of municipal credit control processes and bylaws.
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
