We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. A Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing business strategies, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the power generation, maintenance, and engineering sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Develop business development strategies and annual sales plans.
Tender & Proposal Management
- Identify upcoming tenders and commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Lead bid strategy meetings and proposal submissions.
- Coordinate clarification meetings and commercial negotiations.
Commercial Management
- Review tender documents, contract conditions, and commercial risks.
- Support contract negotiations and contract finalization.
- Prepare project budgets and commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate internal approval processes.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
- High attention to detail and ability to make fact-based decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
