Experience: -
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Must be willing to travel extensively
- Will be required to undergo training for 18 – 24 months
Knowledge and Skills: -
Sound knowledge of the NRCS Act; Sound knowledge of the legislation and regulations related to area of specialty which may include
but is not limited to the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act, Customs Excise Act, Police Act, PFMA, PAJA, SANS, ISO, Consumer Protection Act, Trade Metrology Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, National Road Traffic Act, Sound knowledge of risk assessments; Knowledge of Quality Management systems; Knowledge of inspection methods and processes; Knowledge of evaluation methods and processes
Behavioural attributes: -
Report writing skills; Ability to use judgement; Problem solving; Planning and Organising; Action orientated; Deadline driven; Excellent
communication skills – written and verbal
