Position Overview: The Certified Scaffold Erector will be responsible for the safe and effective erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of expertise in scaffold installation, safety regulations, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to ensure scaffolding is assembled correctly and securely.
- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding systems to verify structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other construction personnel to coordinate scaffold-related activities.
- Ensure all scaffold equipment and materials are properly maintained and stored.
- Provide guidance and support to junior scaffolders and team members on safe work practices and scaffold assembly techniques.
- Report any issues or concerns related to scaffold safety, maintenance, or installation to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Scaffold Erector Certification.
- Valid Working at Heights Certification.
- Proven experience as a Scaffold Erector or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of scaffold safety regulations, codes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
*All certification must be valid for a minimum duration of 6 months and applicants must be available immediately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with various types of scaffolding systems (e.g., tube and clamp, frame, suspended).
- Proficiency in using scaffold inspection tools and equipment.
