Sun International is looking for a Network Security Specialist to protect and secure hybrid networks across on-prem and cloud. You’ll deploy robust security measures, automate infrastructure with IaC, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards, al while keeping our networks resilient and future ready. Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, SIEM/SOAR is key.
The Network Security Specialist will secure hybrid network environments (on-premises and cloud) by implementing robust security measures, automating infrastructure provisioning using IaC, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, while monitoring threats and maintaining resilient, secure network operations

- Hybrid network & cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation, IAM, encryption
- IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) & DevSecOps
- SIEM/SOAR, monitoring, logging, traffic analysis
- Time management, continuous learning, integrity
- Container/Kubernetes security, scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Security standards, vulnerability management, audits
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 6+ years relevant experience in network and/or cloud security
- Deep knowledge of routing, VLANs, VPNs, and SD-WAN for hybrid connectivity
- Proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure ARM, Ansible
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
- Familiarity with hybrid identity management and Zero Trust principles
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, Terraform Associate (preferred)
