We are a growing children’s clothing brand focused on creating stylish, affordable, and quality fashion for kids. We are looking for a motivated and creative intern who understands retail, has a passion for digital marketing, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce and brand building.
Role Overview
This internship is ideal for a recent graduate or junior professional who has a good understanding of retail operations, social media marketing, and online selling platforms such as Shopify.
You will support the day-to-day management of our digital presence, online store, content creation, and customer engagement activities while gaining valuable experience across marketing, e-commerce, and retail operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing & Social Media
- Create and schedule content across social media platforms.
- Assist with content planning and campaign execution.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to customer queries.
- Track campaign performance and provide basic reporting.
- Identify trends and opportunities to increase brand awareness.
Shopify & E-Commerce
- Upload and manage products on Shopify.
- Update product descriptions, pricing, and images.
- Monitor online store performance and customer experience.
- Assist with online promotions and sales campaigns.
- Support order management and customer communications.
Retail & Brand Support
- Assist with visual merchandising and product launches.
- Support photoshoots and content creation activities.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Help maintain brand consistency across all channels.
- Assist with administrative and marketing-related tasks.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma, or Degree in:
- Marketing
- Digital Marketing
- Retail Business Management
- E-Commerce
- Communications
- Business Management
- Or a related field
- Understanding of retail and customer experience.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Advantageous
- Previous retail experience.
- Experience creating social media content.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.).
- Photography or video editing skills.
- Experience managing business social media pages.
