URGENTLY HIRING: Accountant (Service Station Experience Essential)
Location: Westmead, Durban
Position: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong service station (fuel retail) background to join our team as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full accounting function
- Daily cashbook processing and reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Debtors and creditors management
- Fuel stock reconciliations
- Wet stock and dry stock analysis
- Preparation of management accounts
- VAT calculations and submissions
- Payroll support (advantageous)
- General ledger reconciliations
- Financial reporting and month-end procedures
- Assisting with audits and compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven accounting experience within a service station or fuel retail environment (essential)
- Strong understanding of fuel reconciliations, wet stock control, and fuel retail accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Relevant accounting qualifications will be advantageous
