Head Office of a listed Group has an opening for a Senior Financial Manager - Reporting (strictly EE female). Report directly to the CFO. A CA(SA) is essential for the role with Group Accounting experience within a large Group.
3-4 years related experience in a large corporate company. KPI's include: prepare and analyse monthly reports for the group (which includes the company and all related entities
forming part of the legal entity as well as all dormant entities);
Preparation of the Annual Budgets and Forecasts, which involves - consolidation of divisional budgets and forecasts and management of the templates/packs used; management of the process and guidelines of annual budgets and forecasts;
Preparation of Annual Statutory Financial Statements according to IFRS; Keep up to date with developments in IFRS and assess the applicability of new standards or changes to the group;
Implement any applicable changes by updating the Financial Department’s procedures; Preparation of Schedules and Reconciliations supporting the Annual Financial Statements;
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts; Cash Flow forecast and variance analysis; Ensure compliance to Group and Company Policies and Procedures; Responsible for reporting Risk, Governance and Legal matters for the Group; Interpret, control and manage computerized reporting systems; Understanding of internal control procedures and ability to develop and co-ordinate improvements in this area; Control all Tax requirements and compliance thereof for the Group; Keep up to date with developments in Taxation and assess the applicability of changes to the Group; Implement any applicable changes by updating the Financial Department’s procedures; Daily Treasury and Banking to the Group Company; Bank account maintenance;
High performance required in terms of daily financial management; Ability to formulate and implement strategic direction for division; Plan, manage and co-ordinate all external audits and Group requirements for regulatory returns;
Lead, manage and motivate a high performance team Knowledge of SAP highly advantageous.
