Our client is seeking a qualified cost & management accountant for their team on the Eastrand, Edenvale.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Cost and Management Accountant
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- CIMA Qualification
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedure
- Excellent accounting software and administration skills - Sage ERP System
About the role:
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Procurement process
- Maintaining and Managing Manufacturing Software
- Managing WIP and FG Value
- Inventory Management
- Coordinate and Conduct Physical Inventory Counts
- Production Analysis
- Maintaining, Reviewing, and Creating Production Reports according to Production Performance Measures and Needs.
- Assist with implementation, compliance, and maintenance of financial controls. Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends and issues. Providing support for the business.
- Assemblies of stock and review of BOMS
