Our Client is seeking a skilled Houseman to join their prestigious wine estate. This position involves providing high-quality service and maintaining the estate's exceptional standards. Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, ensuring the upkeep of the estate, and supporting various functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms, public areas, and estate facilities to the highest standards

Assist with setup and teardown for events, including arranging furniture, equipment, and décor

Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues

Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services

Support housekeeping staff with tasks such as delivering linens, towels, and other supplies

Ensure the proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment

Assist with minor maintenance tasks, including repairs and adjustments

Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any operational issues

Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Provide excellent customer service and support to guests and team members
Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role or in hospitality is preferred

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving items

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Matric or equivalent required

Additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
