A well-established hotel group is looking to appoint an experienced and well-organized Rates & Sales Coordinator with experience in rate contracting, to provide the necessary support to the sales team. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, Marketing and Reservations, the candidate will become a point of reference for colleagues and customers.
Scope & General Purpose:
- Issuing of rates & specials as required
- Assisting with the set-up and contracting of yearly rates
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
- Respond to queries and assist our customers when requested
- Store and sort data in electronic form and present reports
- Database management
- Assist in the preparation and organizing of educational trips, trade shows, and sales trips.
- Uploading of information and reports onto the sales CRM system
- Pre-sales trip organizing and diary management for the Head of Sales, Marketing, and Reservations
- Post-sales trip and trade show follow-ups and reports
- Interaction with tour operators on any information requirements
- Weekly / Monthly reporting on sales activities
- Co-ordinating the reservations of approved site inspections
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales coordination and rate contracting - 3 to 5 Years experience in the same or similar role
- Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- Works well and accurately under pressure
- A team player with a high level of dedication
- Qualifications in business administration or relevant field; certification in sales or marketing; experience with reservations systems will be an asset
