Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Help customers locate products and provide accurate product information.
- Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process cash, card, and electronic payments.
- Handle cash accurately and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise.
- Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to management.
- Price and label products correctly.
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints and returns in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.
- Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
- Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and new products to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Good numerical skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Required language: German & English
Pay: R7 000,00 - R10 500,00 per month
