This high-profile fine dining restaurant set within a luxury 5 star hotel offers award winning AUTHENTIC JAPANESE and Asian cuisine styled with very modern, fine dining elements and plating components.
ProStaffSelect is in search of a HIGHLY SKILLED Senior Japanese / Sushi Chef to take on full responsibilities for all production including all hot and cold items, working at the display counter in front of customers as well as Aji sushi, Uramaki, Hirame, Madai and speciality rolls. Traditional Japanese KNIFE SKILLS and CRAFTMANSHIP is essential, as is the knowledge and use of Japanese food production techniques. Please note: This is NOT A CHINESE Restaurant.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience within high profile 5* level Sushi production for at least 4 - 5 years
Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of fish including all Sushi & Japanese terminology
Highly presentable / attractive looking chefs as the production areas are highly visible to all customers in the restaurant
Excellent communication skills in English
Very organised / clean (hygienic) and fast working individuals
Friendly personality / willing to chat to guests
