RETIRED PERSON / PENSIONER REQUIRED - SOMERSET WEST

Position: General Assistant / Sales Support
Location: Somerset West
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Salary: R7,000 per month plus commission on achieving sales targets
Please Note: This is initially a seasonal position, with the possibility of becoming permanent should business requirements increase.
Duties Include:
- Packaging of glass sheets and related products
- Assisting with courier collections and dispatches
- Sales and customer service
- Overseeing day-to-day operations when required
- General stock control and housekeeping
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Must have the legal right to work in South Africa
- No criminal record (background checks will be conducted)
- Honest, dependable, and self-motivated
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Organised, able to work independently and in a team
- Physically fit enough to safely handle glass products
- Basic computer skills advantageous
- Experience in sales, retail, administration, or a similar role preferred
- Ability to cut 4mm glass would be a distinct advantage
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, as the role involves regular interaction with customers who communicate in these languages
- Able to work with attention to detail and maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Comfortable working in a small business environment and taking initiative when required
