St Peter's College is an independant Anglican Diocesan school for boys and girls from Grade 8 to Grade 12. The school was founded in 1998 to meet the demand for a co-educational high school in northern Sandton. St Peter's College offers and integrated and relevant South African high school eductation.

St Peter's College is currently seeking to appoint a committed, reliable and hardworking Dramatic Arts Teacher to commence 1 January 2027.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Completed Post Matric Tertiary qualification majoring in Performing Arts.
- Must have more than five years’ experience teaching Dramatic Arts (Grades 8-12)
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Must be registered with SACE

Duties (not an exhausitive list):
- Teach Dramatic Arts to learners in Grades 8–12 in accordance with the school curriculum and requirements.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that promote creativity, critical thinking, and artistic development.
- Teach both the practical and theoretical components of Dramatic Arts, including performance, theatre history, dramatic literature, movement, voice, and stagecraft.
- Develop and implement appropriate assessments, monitor learner progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data, reports, and student portfolios.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports student growth and wellbeing.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Prepare students for practical examinations, performances, festivals, competitions, and other Dramatic Arts-related events.
- Direct, coordinate, and support school productions, showcases, cultural events, and drama activities.
- Assist with costume, props, set design, technical theatre, and backstage management where required.
- Encourage learner participation in co-curricular drama programmes.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership regarding student progress and development.
- Attend staff meetings, parent meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
