We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Padel Club Manager to lead the operations of our vibrant padel club. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing recreational or sports clubs, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members. This role involves overseeing daily operations, enhancing member experience, driving the club's growth through effective management, and securing sponsorships for events by engaging with corporate partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Club Operations Management:
· Oversee the daily operations of the padel club, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
· Manage bookings, schedules, and events to optimize court usage and member satisfaction.
· Implement and enforce club policies, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members.
Member Engagement:
· Foster a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with members regularly, addressing their needs, and encouraging participation in club activities.
· Develop and implement programs, leagues, and events to enhance member experience and attract new members.
· Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
Staff Management:
· Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff, including coaches, administrative personnel, and support staff.
· Schedule staff shifts, manage performance, and ensure excellent service delivery.
Financial Management:
· Monitor and manage the club’s budget, including revenue from memberships, events, and other services.
· Track expenses and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining high-quality services.
· Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, including member retention initiatives and marketing campaigns.
Sponsorship and Corporate Engagement:
· Identify and reach out to potential corporate sponsors to secure partnerships for club events and tournaments.
· Plan and execute padel tournaments and other events that are backed by sponsors, ensuring these events meet both the club’s and sponsors’ expectations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, leveraging these connections to enhance the club’s offerings and visibility.
· Demonstrate a proactive and engaging personality to confidently approach and invite companies for collaborations.
Marketing and Community Outreach:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the club, including social media management, community outreach, and partnerships with local businesses.
· Organize and promote events, tournaments, and corporate team-building activities to enhance the club's profile.
Facility Maintenance and Development:
· Ensure all facilities are in excellent condition, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs and upgrades.
· Plan and execute improvements or expansions to enhance the club’s offerings and member experience.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in managing a recreational or sports club, preferably in a padel, tennis, or similar environment.
· Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and resolving conflicts.
· Experience in securing corporate sponsorships and organizing sponsored events or tournaments.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and driving revenue.
· Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the padel community is a plus.
Working Conditions:
· This role requires evening and weekend work, depending on club activities and events. [ days off will be during the week and 1 weekend per month] but must be available on cell phone.
The manager will spend time both in the office and around the club facilities, interacting with members and staff

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
