Render comprehensive clinical psychology services including psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychometric evaluation, risk assessment, formulation, treatment planning and report writing. Provide evidence-based individual, group and family psychotherapy and contribute to psychosocial rehabilitation and mental health promotion programmes. Participate in multidisciplinary clinical activities including ward rounds, case discussions, and consultation and liaison services. Maintain clinical governance standards through appropriate administration, record keeping, referral management, statistics reporting and participation in quality improvement activities. Contribute to the training, supervision and evaluation of intern psychologists and other students in accordance with HPCSA requirements. Participate in academic, teaching, research, continuing professional development and service development activities. Represent Psychology on relevant hospital and departmental committees and contribute to the strategic development of psychological services. Provide outreach, consultation and support services to district hospitals, community facilities and other stakeholders as required.
