Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resources, or a related field.
- Sage qualification and experience min 3 years
- Minimum of 8 years of HR Management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR management role.
- Minimum 4 years of Insurance and Financial services experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Description:
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading the HR department and ensuring the implementation of effective HR strategies and practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with South African labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations(compliance with labour laws and regulations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Strategic leadership
- Performance Management (Develop and implement performance appraisal systems)
- Training and Development(Identify training needs and coordinate training programs., Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees)
- HR Policies and Compliance(Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures, Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and industry regulations, and Manage employee records and HR documentation)
